Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the rules governing how SerpHive may be used. It is incorporated by reference into the SerpHive Terms of Service. All users must comply with this AUP. Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

2. Prohibited Activities

You may not use SerpHive to engage in any of the following:

2.1 Cloning and Reverse Engineering

  • Copying, reproducing, or replicating any part of SerpHive's user interface, visual design, workflows, or features
  • Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of the Platform
  • Using browser developer tools, source inspection, or network analysis to extract, replicate, or rebuild any part of SerpHive's logic, structure, or design
  • Building a competing product or service using knowledge derived from inspecting or using SerpHive
  • Creating derivative works based on SerpHive's interface, reports, or workflows

2.2 Scraping and Automated Abuse

  • Using bots, scrapers, crawlers, or automated scripts to extract data from SerpHive
  • Making excessive API requests that exceed fair use limits or degrade the service
  • Systematically downloading or extracting platform content, reports, or datasets
  • Using headless browsers or automated testing tools against the production Platform

2.3 Access Circumvention

  • Attempting to access paid features, admin areas, or other users' data without authorization
  • Bypassing authentication, subscription checks, or role-based access controls
  • Creating multiple accounts to exploit trial periods or free access
  • Sharing account credentials with unauthorized users
  • Reselling or sublicensing access to SerpHive

2.4 Security Violations

  • Probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of the Platform
  • Introducing malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Attempting to intercept, eavesdrop, or alter communications
  • Performing denial-of-service or brute-force attacks

2.5 Misuse of Reports and Data

  • Generating excessive reports solely to stress the system or extract bulk data
  • Using exported data for purposes outside your own legitimate business operations
  • Republishing SerpHive-generated reports or data as your own proprietary product

3. Intellectual Property Protection

SerpHive's platform, including its source code, UI design, data models, reports, algorithms, and methodology, constitutes proprietary intellectual property. Any attempt to copy, clone, recreate, or commercially exploit any part of SerpHive without explicit written permission is a violation of this AUP and may constitute copyright infringement, trade secret misappropriation, or unfair competition under applicable laws.

We actively monitor for cloning behavior, unusual usage patterns, and intellectual property violations. We reserve the right to take legal action against individuals or entities that violate these protections.

4. Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including:

  • Issuing warnings
  • Suspending or terminating accounts immediately
  • Reporting violations to law enforcement
  • Pursuing civil legal remedies including injunctions and damages

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it immediately to support@serphive.io.
